Default h22 power curve question

okkkkkkkkkkk i got a 22 in a 92 cx hatch mods r :
94 jdm h22a with factory lsd
password jdm cf intake
anr header street collector
msd wires
walbro 255 fuel pump
champion spark plugs gapped at .44
2.5 exhaust pipping to a 2.5 in/out muffler
only codes popping r egr(not wired)

now my question is, the car doesn't feel right at all...it feels "spikey" like every rpm power would feel jumpy, the car has nooo ***** downlow but at like 5-5500+ the car starts buggin out...it would feel as if i didn't have my iabs connected, i did cehck to see if there working, and they do...i dunno...maybe a tune?? i don't see how it would need a tune on just i/h/e, i've tried searching for dyno sheats with the same work as mine, but i couldn't find any...this is gettin me frustrated...

Did you replace the timing belt? Timing sounds off...

Not to flame you, but re-read what you just said... If I were you I would suspect a timing issue.

If you didn't buy the motor brand new and you didn't change the timing belt, how do you know that the timing is correct? You're having terrible drivability problems and FIRE IS COMING OUT OF THE CAR. Checking the timing is free, and has solved a lot of problems. The header has nothing to do with the timing, but it does have a lot to do with the AF ratio. Make sure everything is ok with the timing, fuel pressure, etc, then get it tuned.
