Does the ITR throttle body just bolt on?

Default Does the ITR throttle body just bolt on?

i have a 1st gen b16 converted to obd1. I might buy a 99 itr throttle body. Do i need any other parts or is it plug and play?

bolts on, and might not be necessary depending on your setup.

i think the MAP sensor might be in a different spot
not worth the money
just get a dremel and bore your stock one

The TB itself will bolt right up. The only diff. may be the map sensor location, which is easy to fix. Unless you are getting the ITR for under $100, why not just send yours to Maxbore and get it ported to 62mm? It is only $100.

While hes at it, send the intake manifold as well and have it port matched to the throttle body, its only 60 bux more. So 160 total.

youre talking about having the inlet the same size as the tb right?

id do maxbore, but i cant be without my car cuz its my only one. Since ill probly get a new manifold with a 64-65 mm inlet, will it be good to bore the tb to that size also? Or is a taper necessary for velocity?

Taper it. I would have done this but I am using a BBK 62mm and the AEBS.I plan on sending it somehwere to get it tapered (the mani inlet)
I beleive maxbore has a 2 day turnaround, or something like that. You only here good things about his work.
