Default suspension question

hey i have a 96 hatch with alittle more than a 3 inch gap between the wheel and the fender... i was thinking about just slammin it about 3.25 inches in the front and 3 inches in the back... i really dont care about performance right now becuz with my stock d16y7 pushing out around 100 hp and lbs. of torque there is no use for performance... id rather just think about a swap from a year from now... right now im just goin for looks... ive never dropped the suspension on a car so i just need some advice on wat to do.. any advice would be great... thanks OHH and also on a tight budget...

I've seen Y7 powered cars rape people in autocrosses so don't presume that there's no reason to properly upgrade your suspension.

I would look into a quality shock/sleeve combo.

Tight budget, only concerned about looks for now = drop springs. Cheapest way to attain drop (besides cutting or heating your stock springs because that just isn't safe at all)
