Hey everyone,
Its almost time for new tyres, so I figure its probably a good time to get rid of my cheap *** (and heavy) rims. I was considering a 15" or 16" rim .. just hard to know whats gonna look good. I do happen to think the later ITR rims look good (in gun metal and 15" - 10 spoke design). Does anyone know if there are copies or similar rims to these available (obviously I cant use genuine ITR rims ... cos I'm lacking a lug per hub!!)?

Get the newer SI wheels they look really good. Im thinking about getting them for mine.

 

i have the SI's on my car, they are nice, not too amazing but for a stock wheel in 15" they arent bad, and not too heavy. if u want pics let me know. later.

 

im gettin 15'' rotas --- id stick w/ 15's if i were you. less weight =
and they look just as good imo too.
i dont know of any itr copies to be honest with you.

 

I just got 15" rotas. I have a black 95 gs-r ... I will take some pictures when I get home to show you what they look like ... if you are interested. If not, I am not really sure about ITR knock-offs ... I haven't ever heard of anything like that. I know you can get the ITR 5-lug conversion done, but for that rims and tyres it would be about $1500 ... which is a little too high IMHO.

I got my Rota C8's and tyres used for $400 ... which was a little easier on the wallet.

I was tossing up between 15" and 16" ... obviously the 15's would be lighter and have cheaper tyres, whilst the 16's would look better. The 15" I have seen that I think looks good was the tyre r rim.
I do have the stock '94 GSR rims but they have corroded a little. I have had one polished (mirror finish) to see what it'd look like. Looks real good .. but a bit to showy ... I was after something a little more performance/race oriented.
I have considered rota circuit 8's (I do like them) but havent been able to find them in Australia.
There's also some spoon/rega master rip offs available ... and are light weight but they cost a heap.
We have stuff all decent rims here (we can get the good ones but they cost an arm an a leg and would take months to get here (shipping)).

this type r at my work got rid of his stock wheels for these Enkei's......i think they come close minus the nuts around the rim
