What's louder than this type of exhaust?
Is there any kind of exhaust that could be louder than:
4-1 1 piece header to 3 inch piping, no cat, to 3 inch Apex'i N1 muffler.
4-1 1 piece header to 3 inch piping, no cat, to 3 inch Apex'i N1 muffler.
You could run no muffler at all and save yourself the money. Seriously, with that setup, the N1 canister is going to sound just as loud and shitty as no muffler at all, especially if you're putting it after a tiny B16 engine.
why do you need 3" piping? 2.5 should be fine, also get a resonator, and why no cat, having no cat only offers you like one more hp.
but back to your question. you could just run open header. and if anyone trys to tell you it will make your valves warp or something, thats incorrect.

No header wouldn't be an exhasut system would it?
Has to be exhaust system. And of course the mentioned setup is going to sound "shitty" But I happen to like how the N1 sounds on a B series. I love that raspy weedwacker **** on a Honda, more than the "mellow" sound, it's a B sories, not a VQ35DE, with a guthral sexyness.
Guthral motors= DOHC V6's, Domestic V8's, large inline 4, Flat 4, Flat 6
Screamer motors= Inline 6, small inline 4, Euro V8's, V10, V12's.
Thes certain types of motor have common sounds among them. So an N1 wouldn't sound good on a SVT Cobtra, and Flowmaster's don't sound right on a B16, IMO.
Flowmasters, or something with a deep low tone fits a motor type with a deep tone. You'll see that I am about right on motor sounds....even the low revving V10 Viper still sounds like a fricken Honda at high RPMs.
