Default What's up with these exhausts ?

Has anybody heard anything on these " Megan Racing " exhausts ? I've seen them on E-bay before . But now I'm seeing them on all kinds of business sites . Are these actually any good ? I thought it was just some knock off company selling things on E-bay . Thanks for any info or input !

mixed reviews received on those exhausts. Some good, some bad. Overall it sounds like the price fits the product.

actually i don't think the price fits the product at all, i could not have been more impressed with the quality of my megan catback, especially for the price, i would never pay 600+ dollars for a catback when you can get the megan for under 300. mine sounds great, it looks good, welds are beautiful, and fittament was perfect. i highly reccomend them, after seeing the quality of their exhaust i bought their "high flow cat"(its just a resonated test pipe) and 4 into 1 2.5" header. its all really high quality, IMO its about the best value out there. BTW i haven't seen a bad review of their exhausts, i just saw one where a guy said his header cracked, but the other header reviews i saw were pretty positive

selling a resonated test pipe as a cat does not sound like the work of a reputable company. I have no experience with this company, but that sounds shady as hell.

the fart can sound is usually caused by exhaust diameter much larger than necessary.

they're not shady, you might want to worry about some of their distributors though, but that can be said for many of them nomatter what brand they sell. they don't sell the test pipe as a high flow cat, but a lot of the ebay sellers market it that way, you just have to know what you're buying. but again, that can be said for anyone

to the op. the catback comes with a silencer, its really quiet with it in, i usually have it in, it is pretty loud with it out, but its still not really raspy

how much is the apex-i ? if its worth the extra money to be able to say i have an apex-i exhaust then go for it. but pipe is pipe IMO, as long as its put together well and fits well

Unfortunately , I'm a noob . So this is probably the last post I can make today . By the way . . . when will this trial thing be done with ? The restrictions on this suck !

i think trial is for like 2 weeks or so, but 405 shipped isn't bad at all, you can probably get the megan shipped for about 100 less, i think mine was about 295 shipped. personally i'd save the extra 100 and get the megan, i've had it for like 5 months and i'm very happy with it

But is it a cop magnet ? I'm looking for the E-mail that guy sent me about the price. Does it come with a silencer at least ?

Get the megan.

An exhaust is an exhaust.

Apexi makes great products but you're paying the extra hundred for them to laser engrave their name on the muffler.

got their exhaust on my car... it fit a little wierd hitting some of the heatshields on my car... took care of the minor problems and couldn't be any happier... it does come with the silencer also... i've had it for about 6 months and it's still holding up.
