Anyone ever use OBX exhausts? good? bad?
well i was driving around having some fun last friday and i saw a hatch that i had seen before, it had an OBX exhaust and i heard it take off at a light (im fillin my car up) racing someone and i was surprised it sounded really good.
Now i know OBX is considered ebay **** but has anyone used an obx exhaust system? is it actually garbage? Will it flow well? I want something that sounds good but isnt $600 and isnt giong to be basically as good as oem. I have an ls/vtec setup so i think 2.25" piping will be good, any other ideas for an exhaust?

I bought an ebay exhaust a few months ago when mine was going in the *******.
The whole kit (headers, cat/test pipe, and cat back) can cost you about $300 or less or so.
The quality on mine sucked for the only reason that the s pend pipe did not fit right. It layed lower than the rest of the system and had to be welded up.
The sound isn't bad too. Running it with a test pipe makes it sound ricey but it's not bad for about $300
You get what you pay for, but it isn't total garbage in this case.. just not the best.
Bump though. Everyone on this forum just says "you get what you pay for" instead of giving an answer that you can use.

I have an obx header and it definatley works well but isnt as nice as my DC on my teg, but for $35 its a nice little piece, and it looks real nice and shiny and thats all that really matters.
