Clutch Pedal Sticking
Hey guys, 1995 Honda Accord EX w/ 120,000 miles. Just about a week ago, I went to start it up in the morning and it started fine, but the clutch pedal wouldn't release, and I couldn't put it in either 1st gear or reverse. I had to wait for the engine to warm up for a minute before it would (reluctantly) go into gear.
Now, whenever I leave it for more than 6 hours, I have to start it in neutral and pump the clutch a few times to get it to "unstick." After I start driving though, it goes into every gear smoothly. It doesn't feel like the clutch is going, because I don't have any hesitation at stoplights when I go from clutch to 1st and 1st to 2nd, which is where a worn clutch usually starts showing itself, isn't it?
I've looked online and it sounds like it might be the clutch master cylinder, which would need replacing. Anyone else ever had or heard of this kind of problem? Help!

You got it. I had the same problem. Master cyl.
It got to the point where I couldn't shift into any gear at all.
Keep an eye on your clutch fluid resivoir, as when there's a problem with your Master Cyl seals, it leaks down the pedal onto your shoe, basically.
Try pumping the clutch, also, when you have fluid, in case there are air bubbles. It may make it a little easier to shift until you can get the cyl replaced.

I had this problem. Check the slave cylinder, my master cylinder was leaking a little bit, but it turned out the slave cylinder was leaking even more.....both are replaced now.
This is a pretty common problem, I have the exact same car as you do with a 120000 miles and i had to replace my master and slave cylinder about half a year ago. Check your brake fluid level, top it off and pump the clutch. That should help. Chances are you will have to replace one if not both of the cylinders sooner or later.
