M22 will have a better idle and possible peak over the pro-1
The pro-1 will have a better powerband with a strong low end tq compared to the other 2 ( only a few hp nothing crazy) but will peak sligtly less then the m22
The buddy
The buddy 4 will lose sligtly in the lower rpms but probably peak similar to the m22 or more.

You really cant go wrong with either..

Disclaimer=nthese were my experiences they day we dynoed all 3 on mine and Boosted hybrids car..I bet the places will swap back in forth on diff motors.

^^Holy thread hi-jacker! Like Tbone said, the BC4's and M22's will be a more 'top end" cam, but the pro 1's are gonna have more the midrange. if you only want to rev to 8.5-9k max, I would opt for the Pro 1's. Here is a dyno sheet of the Pro 1's vs. the M22x.

dotted line are the M22's, solid line are the Pro 1's.

and the thread.... https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=1141681

the m22x makes good power for being the smaller cam, will idle better, and will put less stress on the rest of your engine in the long run if you drive your car alot/daily. it also makes about the same power up top if you are drag racing. you decide.

Evol, the guy is going to be spraying, what cam worked for you or Tom when you sprayed. I would say GSR, "R" or skunk stg.1 to shorten up intake closing. Or go to forced induction.

are the m22's really that good? i've been wanting to get them for a long time to replace my bc3+ (jdm itr motor). only thing stopping me is i'm not sure if the gains are enough to warrant the expense.

Rocket Motorsports M22 12.1 284 12.1 284.

i think that the RM M22 will really make a difference vs the BC3+. Have you Dyno'ed ur ITR with the BC3+?

The M22's will be similar to your BC in the midrange, but will absolutely stomp them from 7k up

I'm guessing there are a couple things you need to upgrade before even thinking of cams. What header?

red civic standard dynoed the m22 vs the bc3+ on his jdm itr motor, the bc3+ made more power everywhere except above 8200 rpm. this is the thread https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=1403178

That motor had much less compression than the one is this thread. The results will not be the same.

However, the spray does change things. You might want to listen the Don.
