i pumped the wrong fuel in my rsx...i drove the car a couple of blocks and she cut off and i thought i seen some smoke comming from under the hood. i pulled the car over and called the tow. got her home, pumped out all the fuel and put in 2gallons of 92. now im stumped on why she will not start. I have compression, its pumping gas and im getting a spark. any help on this...maybe i should drain the gas tank again and put in more fuel. im lost..anyone wanna gimme some advice, besides "dont put diesel in your car"..lol.
I would pull your plugs and either clean them in some good solvent, MEK, acetone, etc., or just change them. My guess is the diesel got on you plugs and fouled them out.
I'm betting that's all it is...

Well, in your original post you said you pumped all of the diesel out. I figured you did that with the factory pump... but maybe not...
I guess the easiest way would be to have all of the fuel pump and all hooked up like normal, (in the tank) and disconnect the fuel line from the fuel rail (don't loose the two crush washers), and turn your ignition on for a few seconds (which should cause the pump to come on for a little bit), and dump the remaining diesel into a can/bucket/etc., until you smell gas coming out. The pump only runs for about a second each time you turn the ignition on, so you might need to do it a few (or more) times. You would then prolly have to take the fuel rail off, or at least drain it really good) and then put it all back together. Diesel won't ignitee with a spark plug under ~10:1 compression ratio, and will just foul out your plugs, and it took a few miniutes for the diesel to get all the way down your fuel line/rail, and now you have to get it all out.
Make sure you don't have any leaks, and do not smoke near open fuel sources...
Hope it helps. And check your plugs one more time after you do all of this.

My friend did this in his 2004 civic like 2 months ago. We just removed the gas ( hand pumped it from under the rear seat ) and added new gas. Put the highest octane you can find at the pump (i.e 94, 93, 92 is good). Add like 6 gallons so you are diluting the diesel. Crank for like 10 min ( taking breaks ). I would try to turn over for like 6-10 sec's. Pump the pedal while starting. In the beginig nothing happened. After a couple of tries it almost turned over. Every time it would get a little better. It will choke, sputter, and cough out large clouds of white smoke. Once you get it started go get the fuel system cleaned. I have heard the diesel will eat the seals in the injectors?
I might follow DOHCsideracing's advice on removing the fuel from the line but, I don't think taking the fuel rail off is necessary to just get it started.
Now we call my friend P diesel hahahah.
