Default how to fix the door lock switch when the chrome scratches off? [00 gsr]

both right and left side door lock switches on my 00 gsr are chipped off. my interior is perfect other then that... I was thinking maybe just scratching all the chrome off and then painting them black. any ideas?

Scratch it all off and leave it black. Much harder for theives to spot the "Steal this Integra" switch, especially in the dark with tint.

the problem is that it's not black under the chrome, it's some ugly yelowish white plastic. I guess I'll just spray them black.. it's easy taking the door apart and getting to the switch right?

ummm you don't need to take the door apart. There's one phillips screw that holds that assembly in. Remove that, pull it out a bit, unplug it....and there ya go.
