my 1990 honda accord ex auto Sport Light started to blink as i was driving today. I stop at a stop sign and it had power taking off but as soon it shift into 2nd gear i lost a lot of power. I had the pedal to the floor and the rpm's were at 2,000 and i was doing 30 mph. When i got home i turned off the car and i made a loud pop noise. then i try to start the car again and i just turn over and nothing. waited about 30 sec. and i started up fine and the Sport Light stop blinking and it drove fine. it made the pop noise early this week when i left the Sport Mode on and turned off the engine

 

IIRC there's a fuse that controls the sport mode. You may want to check or replace that. If that doesn't work, there's a problem.
