Major problem child Accord.
In my automotives class a friend of mine brought in his 91 or 92 Accord to get some work done. We have removed the head to change the head gasket but we were also planning on changing the timing belt and water pump. There is one problem though. It is an automatic and we cannot get the crank pulley bolt off. We have tried 2 different impact wrenches clocked up to 140 PSI and it didn't even budge. Then we wrenched on it and it would slowly turn the crank. We tried to jam a screwdriver into the flywheel to get the crank to stop spinning but it would just shoot out. In the Haynes manual they also suggest the barbaric method with the screwdriver to stop the flywheel but it just doesn't seem to work. We already have the engine pretty well taken apart and the left side motor mount is out too which allows us more room to work. Does anyone have any special secrets? Like I said it is an automatic 91 or 92 Accord, don't know what model but I doubt it matters. Any help would be greatly appreciated as this car has already been total hell for us (stripped out head bolts from when the kids dad tried to work on it himself, stripped out wheel locks that required a great deal of welding and bashing to get off, and now this).
Thanks in advance.

There is a honda specific pulley holder tool, i have one and it works wonders. It's around $60.I had to jump on my 1/2 break over bar to get mine loose, that was when it was out of my car, and in the car i had to use a breaker bar a long *** cheater bar. 'my h22a's crank pulley bolt is torqued to 181ft lbs and i assume yours is around the same.
Ok... I will talk to him about it. He said his dad wants to cheap out on it and stuff so I dunno if they wanna buy a tool just for one job. Thanks for the help though. Anyone else have any other suggestions?

We were actually going to try heating it up tomorrow. But I was hoping to get some less risky ideas before we resorted to the blue tipped wrench. We have already had to use it to melt the entire stripped head bolt and to weld crap to the stripped wheel lock.
get a 3/4 inch impact , 19mm 6 point short socket no extension ,,thats what i use and always comes off ...make sure the mount is off so engine will be lowered enough so u can use a short socket
