I want to make my gauge lights red and I saw that the bulbs have blue covers anyone no where I can get red covers?

 

When you want to change the color of gauges, you'll have to switch the whole bulb itself.

So just buy three 168 red Wedge bulbs. No need to switch covers.
I have red bulbs in mine and everything lights up red, even the needles.

Cool where did you get them at? And were you able to change out the A/C lights too? I want them all to match

 

u wanna buy my red POLARGS? they looked neat, but i decided to keep amber i liek it better...

 

ive got the red gauge lights. looks damn good and its easy to install.

 

Since I don't have a digital camera, I'll have to explain it somehow.

Everything lights up in dark red. Notice when you have your hand brake on, you'll see the icon light up at the top center? The gauges lights are darker than that.
It looks similar to BMW gauges at night.

And to change all the A/C, heat...etc..to light up the same color as your gauges, you'll have to take out the whole center panel, which I heard is a pain in the a$$. So I didn't even bother.

I had amber bulbs in there before I switched to red. I bought the amber ones from Pepboys. The red bulbs I got from autotoys.com or something.

If you do a search with the words "guage" (notice it's spelled wrong, but that's the title of the thread) you'll find a thread that has a few pics of them in which I participated in as well.

 

honestly, someones going to argue with me on this...but the lights in the climate control cant be changed...at least on a 98+ integra...theres a blue coating on the back of the buttons, so what ever color light you use, will have a blue tint to it...

 

Not gonna argue. You are right you will have to swap the climate control buttons. I also swapped the face guages on my gsr to type r because if you take them out and look on the 98 and up they are blue also.

 

i have red bulbs in my gauges and love it, i got mine at Pep Boys if you have those where you live
