Default Alpine Cva 1000

does anybody have info about the ALPINE CVA 1000 or better yet have one in there honda? I was thinking about buying one privately but I need some more info on it. I considered buying the new models but they do not support live video while the car is moving ie: DVD and Video games. The parking brake must be applied (I understand why but I'm not interested in that, but my passengers want to) Alpine is being stubborn and not releasing any info on how to run live video ie DVD and video games. any info would be appreciated asap.

the reason why they dont want to given instruction on how to play the dvds, and playing video games is that they do not want to be held responsible for accidents and be sued. Well my friend just bypass the the parking break by using a toggle switch but really dont know all the secret but will ask more information to my friend about bypassing it. well if anything happens, im not responsible for it.

I have one in my R...You can bypass the lock easily, but do not do it if it's in the factory location. IM me for details.

I would not get a 1000. Get a 1005,6 or a iva-c800,801 They are way better. They have a better looking screen and faster software.

A simple bypass switch that goes to ground and the other end to the parkingbrake wire connection of the alpine brain will allow you to watch while you drive althought it is illegal.

come on guys think, if all it requires is the parking brake applied. Then tie a relay to the ignition so it wound put out a negative signal to the deck when the ignition is turned on. Simple!

Edit:
This is assuming the signal the deck recieve from the parking brake is negative triggered. Always check first.
