Default clutch problem??

Drove to work today fine. On way home could not get into 1st gear. Finnally made it home and messed with the clutch cable, seem to work fine for 1/4 of a mile in all gears, then got stuck in 2nd and drove home in 2nd. Now it wont go into any gears. When the car is off the i can move it into all gears but as soon as i turn the car on and try it wont let me. I have a B18A motor in an 88 civic. any help would be great, thanks

you have to give us a lil more info than that.. how old is the clutch, how did you adjust your cable? sounds like your clutch is not disengaging or a stretched clutch cable..

I just bought the car a couple weeks ago so i do not know how old the clutch is. All i know is that its an "Act Stage II" clutch. And of course the guy i bought the car from said the clutch and everything was fine and ive only driven it 3 days since ive had it.

try loosening the cable all the way and then tie it up till id doesnt have any play on the release lever and if that doesnt solve your problem it might be your clutch disc the middle part where the tranny shaft goes in might of gotten pushed in too close to the flywheel making the clutch not engauge at all causing the problem of not letting any of the gears engauge
