i put a new fuel filter on my car today , after i had it all done i started it and it ran for 2 minutes and shut off and wouldn't go back on. my fuel pump don't even turn on, i checked the relays and there all working fine, i jumped it and the fuel pumped worked fine than, am i not getting power to the relay? or something ?can anyone help me plz?

 

could i have a defected fuel filter?!

 

i know you said that you checked all your relays but the main relay which is located right next to the fuse box under the dash controls the fuel pump.

i had the same problem the fuel pump wouldn't prime i got a new one and it works fine. sry if im telling you info you already knew, just trying to help.
