On the 94-95's the only o2 sensor is on the header. 96+ has one on the header and cat.

No, it's a little more complicated -

94-99 GSR has no o2 on the header at all (94-95 will have 1 o2 on the cat, 96-99 has 2 o2 on the cat)

00-01 GSR has 1 o2 on the header (and one on the cat) - the header is exactly the same as a 94-01 LS, 94-95 LS cats have no o2 in them at all, 96+ have 1, just like the 00-01 GSR.

Wrong on both counts, the 94-99 GSR HAS NO O2 SENSOR ON THE HEADER!

Also, the 90-91 Integras have the o2 on the leftmost runner so that you can see it from the engine bay, while the 92-93 has 1 o2 at the collector like the 94-01 LS and 00-01 GSR.

Edit- I totally mistyped, I was correct in my earlier posts, I meant to say the 94-99 gsr has no o2 sensor on the header, and 1 in the cat. You can see my erroneous original statement in the quotes below.

Better detail, thanks for pointing that out to me.

this is correct, see my edit above, I mistyped the first time I typed in bold, but this information I posted toward the top was correct:

I'm putting a OBD2 GSR into my 94 LS and running a OBD1 ecu. Therefore I should buy a 00-01 GSR header? Thanks.

If I were to use an obdII cat and use a plug and loctite would that work?? to pass smog and just have the sensor in one of the holes. one other question. When I got the cat it will only fit upside down but when its upside down it connects perfectly to my exhaust... actually my exhaust sit pretty low.

If you're running an obd1 ecu, just use a 94-01 ls header (easier to find), although a 00-01 gsr header is exactly the same, people will want more $ and there are fewer available. You will not need an o2 in the cat, so just use the 94 ls cat.

as long as you aren't using an obd2 ecu, plugging it up should work fine. If your cat is upside down, where is your o2 pointing? down at an angle?

the O2 sensor wont even fit. thats why im going to an exhaust shop... to cut the flange and flip the cat so the O2 sensor will fit, unless someone can tell me whats going on.... cause it doesnt make sence that the cat is flipped like that.
