best performance adders with $7000
What would be the best things to do with $7000 to a crx, and be able to hit all aspects, like suspension and tranny, and engine, and have close to 300 horse.
buy a b20 swap with GSR tranny build the internals ie. pistons rods valve springs etc. buy turbo kit slap it on tune the **** out of it... then dyno

Ace you are so wise
First I would determine what in the heck you want to do with the car.
Is this going to be a street car, auto-x, road race, drag race, or show car. You can do a lot with $7000 and a CRX. Figure out where you want to go and plot your map to that point.

That'll never happpen for $7k

7k is a pretty penny to spend on a CRX. But it all depends on what you want to do... because if you want to make an all out autox car all of a sudden 7000 doesn't seem like much
however if all you want to do is go in a straight line, 7k can get you there real fast. A B Series turbo may be a good option. The K Series swaps are tantilizing but you'll spend 5 out of the 7 just getting the K in there so in the end you may be able to go faster with a boosted B.

I dont know why people keep suggesting the B20 as a candidate for boost. Everybody says that the cylinder walls are too thin and will eventually crack even if you do have it tuned right. Better to just swap an LS in and turbo that, or a built B16 with nitrous.

iam going b20vtec seems like a good choice and ive herd both ways on the turbo b20

B20VTEC N/A is fine, but B20 or B20VTEC turbo is too risky. There is more then enough proof out there that the B20 stock sleeves are too weak. The extra displacemtn helps out a lot when you are going NA. But with a turbo you can easily gain that same amount of power by running an LS but with slightly higher boost.
