In this auction, http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/aw-cg...287731&r=0&t=0, they say that the lip is the same material as the stock bumpers. Does anyone have this replica lip? Please tell me how's the quality if you have seen it. Thanks.

 

it says its for 96-98 civics. you have the 99-00 front..unles you have another hatch lol

The ABS plastic is supposed to be good. Not as "flexible" as urethane, but more durable than fiberglass.
A lotta companies sell them. I believe they're made in Taiwan.

 

i know this product looks good on paper...but when you get it i gurantee you will be disapointed...i bought a 98+ front lip from the same company thinking id be saving money instead of buying the OEM lip...it was basically a poor fitting piece of **** plastic...had to find a creative way to attach it to the bumper too since it doesnt have holes drilled, or mounting locations... i ended up getting rid of it and buying the real deal...i suggest you do the same...

 

Slo_Teg's right i'd save your money and order it from king.

 

I'm with Slo_Teg on this one. I ordered the 96-98 Mugen lip off of the Group Buy and once I got it, you understand why it costs $99. Hardware is included but directions aren't, plus the fit isn't exactly flush. Stick with OEM or a high quality aftermarket piece im IMO. With me, I'll be going with the WW CTR front lip - my original choice.

Cool, could you tell me where you bought yours? Also, is there any tape involved or is it all hardware for installation?

Came with all of the hardware needed, instructions, and mounting tape. Write him....he can get anything from Wings West and has it directly shipped to you from their factory.
