i started up my car and it stall i tried to start it back up and it would just turn over. so i waited till the morning and it still just turned over.

i know its not my main relay becuase i just changed it. i put a screwdriver in the sparkplug wire and put it close to metal to test if there was spark and there was none. my guess is it was the ignition module becuase that's what i found when i searched

but im not sure if it is or where to locate it.

ICM is on the distributor. youll only see it when you remove the distributor cap. when you get to it, look for burn marks where it shorted out inside. most likely your problem. its easy to get to.

 

is there a spring that goes from that to the cap? because i found the spring inside the cap not attached. the piece the spring is supposed to go into is black on the end.
