jdm ITR 100% all the way.....where to start, well right outta the box it would be faster, comes with an LSD tranny, better flowing head, if you get a 99-01 ITR swap, it would have a 4.78 final drive as compared to the gsr and 96-98 ITR with a 4.40 funal drive. revs out a lot quicker! 99-01 ITR has bigger cams outta the civic type r, as 96-98 itr have smaller cams. just all around a fun motor to drive and have fun with, but theres also a price difference that comes with that. the gsr swap a lil bit cheaper, but it also depends on what you want to do with it, ie( allmotor, nitrous, tubo, superchared)......those are may variables that you have to think of!.....let me kno if you need more info

no 96-98 and 99-01 are different(might be 96-97 and 98-01, not 100% sure) 96 spec has different cams, and a different final drive, they changed then , to ctr cams and 4.78 final drive in 99. they did this, the 96-97(maybe 98) came with a 15 inch wheel and a 4.40 final drive, then they changed to a 16 wheel, and a 4.78 final drive to make up for the bigger wheel. in turn, you put a 15 inch wheel on the 4.78 final drive, the car goes through its powerband faster, faster 1/4 mile times
