EG JDM climate control help.
I purchased a JDM climate control today from a local, I picked up cheap so I decided for it. The main reason I bought it was because I read here on HT that it was plug and play and everything would work correctly.
I searched for those threads and I couldn't find anything that would help me. The plugs do not work, the OEM one is about 1mm too big for the JDM climate control. Now, I did get the other end of the plug with the exposed wires. However, none of the colors match, so I'm not going to go cutting and saudering anything.
Has anyone actually put this on their EG and got it to work. Please help.

I did find a thread that talks about this. I know not everything will not work correctly, I'm not worried about that yet. However, none of the harnesses will plug together, other people have said that it will work, however on mine it originally doesn't. I have a 1994 EX.

the climate control itself cannot be used because the jdm unit is electrical and the u.s. is cable.
what you need to do is take the faceplate and amber bulbs from the japanese and swap it with the one you have.

hmm, well i've seen most people just swap the faceplates...taking the faceplate and whatnot off the jdm one, and slapping it onto the usdm unit

yup.. i did that yesterday.. the tab that controls how hot and how cold u want the inside to be is run by a cable and the tab that controls the air strength is controlled electricly.. on the jdm one both tabs are controlled electrically..
