you could probably do it by using those same instructions, just substitute an accord instead of civic....of course there will be different screws/locations etc, but jsut remove you instrument cluster and remove the bulbs and paint them...
about the climate control, if your is like a fifth gen, which im not sure, then you would have to actually desolder leds off a circuit board and resolder new amber colored ones on there to change the lights for the climate control...if they are not led's then you can just remove that and remove the bulbs, then paint them too....

Hey man its a little harder to do on an accord. The accord has a green filter on the gauges, wich gives them the oem green glow. You have to remove the fliter by rubbing the back of the gauge with nail polish. The only problem is the gas gauge has the filter on the face of it. So you can't remove it unless you cut it out with an eaxcto knife. I've seen people do it but i heard its a bitch to get it to look right. Good luck peace.
EDIT I'm talk'n about a 5th gen, but i think its the same for 6th gens?

I did the red gauge and dash mod on my civic, when i used to have it, to match my cd player too. it was pretty easy to do, just tedious. i would not reccomend spraypainting the bulbs. I bought red lighting gels from a photo place. i just cut out the gels to fit behind everything that was lit up, including the cruise control button, and taped them there. i dont know the logistics of doing this to an accord, as Krisgh15 pointed out. but if possible, use lighting gels like i did, they will never fade or need to be replaced, and all you have to do is un-tape them to return your car to stock

thanks for all your replies.
i looked at the site you plugged P_Adams and sent them a email since they didn't seem to have red gauge kits.
remo could you be more specific on the "lighting gels?" as in the name of the brand and such. i'm not familiar with this product. and some pics of your process would be appreciated.

thats what theyre called. lighting gels arent a brand name or anything. just call a place that sells photo equipment and theyll know what youre talking about. All they are is a big, thin sheet of colored plastic. I had to use two layers so the light came out red instead of pink. im sorry, but it will be difficult to get pictures because i recently sold my car. it just looks as you would imagine it would-red buttons lit up. The nice thing about it is that it looks stock and you would not know the car had been modified.
to tell you the truth, i just used a thread (like the one you posted a link of) where they were painting the bulbs except i just taped the gels behind whatever was transparent
let me know if you have any questions mcavenagh@hotmail.com
