Default Buying a Civic, anyone know which civic model this is and the specs?

i'm buying it, but i forgot to look at the engine code, and ask what model....
its an hour away, i'm getting it for $800.00 CDN ($669.00 USD) so i think its a deal...

can anyone give me some info based on these pics....whether its a 1.5L or 1.6L and which 1.5L it is....i see now that there are like 3 different kinds......70HP 92HP 108HP

if someone can help i would appreciate it.

thanks again 1989 Civic Hatch

that center console is toxic and will be unheathfull to u. u better sell it to me b4 u die from it.

it's DPFI so it's a DX model eather 70 (d15b1) or 92HP (d15b2) the 108 is the 1.6.

never seen a bi-linual gauge cluster b4.

dx for sure, dual point fuel injection. 1.5L, 92 hp. Not as good as the HF or SI for swapping motors because you have to convert to mpfi, but 669 looks like a good deal to me. What kind of milage does it have?

i will die from the center console?? or you just want it?

swaping something like a ZC would be not easy??

as for the bilingual cluster, its Canadian.

and as for the mileage its in Kilometers....but i'll convert....(1.61)
is roughly..... 171,330 Miles

171,330 Miles

The gauge cluster is stock, the 89 hatchback I bought yesterday has the same one -- must be a Canadian thing.

Mine is a little odd, it says DX on the hatch, but it's got twin tailpipes that look stock, and according to the VIN it's a 1.6 litre. Maybe it's an Si with the hatch replaced? It's got a power sunroof as well. What do you think?

I know exactly what that is.....

Its an 88/89 Civic DX with parts from many other cars. I know its a DX because it has cloth inserts in the door panels, and a rear wiper on the hatch ruling out CX and base models.
It has a "SI" steering wheel, headrests, gauge cluster, and the optional center console and front lip option. The engine is the dpfi 1.5L D15 that makes 92hp.
The car also has downgraded plastic seat from a CX, but upgraded 90/91 CRX Si wheels.

Just noticed, those door panels are SI ones. (they have black cloth, dx has gray)

I dropped in an Automatic SI Cluster in my car because it has a Tach heh. Looks pretty sweet. I want that Center Console also. I am probably trading consoles with my friend because he likes the normal one and I like his heh.
