Default whats the best way to go?

i have a 90 si hatch. whats the best thing to do to it to get power? without swapping. i heard if u change from the header all the way to exhaust u can get 50 hp. if i add vtec? how much more can i get?

to add vtec u will have to swap ur motor with a z6 head or go dohc vtec (b16, b18c, h22a, k-series, ect.)
and by putting a header and exhaust on u might get 5-10 hp max.

your not going to gain to much from bolt ons......if you did head swap and full bolt ons the most power i can see you gaining is 15-20 whp with a good tune.

You could try a cam if you dont want to swap the head. bolt ons, clutch, and some head work, or just boost it

boost is good. It will good you good hp. I like NA. In my 91 Si I have a b16 and will soon have a lsvtec. So it really is up to you. Bolt on will get expensive real quick. Plus getting bolt on on your d16 and getting it up to 160 will most likely cost close to just swapping out the engine for a b16 and you will be able to put on bolt ons. Turbo would be the most bang for the buck, but like i said before i dont like turbo and never have. Just my two cents.

boost it you dont have to refill your turbo when your bottle gets empy lol. Anyone of these would work great. i like turbo myself
