For new suspension, am I missing anything??
I have a 93 Integra LS, with all original suspension with over 183,000 miles and its time to replace the suspension. My questions is if maybe anyone knows of anything I might be missing that should be swiched out while replacing shocks and springs, or possibly better parts to use instead of what I have....so far it costing about $900.00 after installation. Thanks for the help!!
here is my list of what I will be buying so far...
1. - Tokico ILLUMINA 5 ways adjustable struts/shocks set.
2. - H&R Sport Springs.
3. - Adjustable front and rear Camber correction kit.
4. - Strut bar / tie bar 4 pieces combo kit.
5. - Energy Suspension rear trailing arm bushings.

You might want to search around some, but I hear bad things about those bushings. Something about them not allowing the arm to move through the entire range it needs to move through.

Yea now i do remember a while back, reading the long tread on that, they said better to use the mugen ones, or just go with another set of stock bushings, I only plan on keeping the car about 4 - 5 more years..

3. Not needed
4. Bling parts mostly; cut them out if you don't have the budget
5. Too stiff for that location, will cause suspension bind and bump steer - not pretty and quite dangerous. Use an OEM (they have seperate part numbers now) or Mugen (same as new OEM design, but much more expensive).
I would say take the money you'd waste on the tie bars and camber kit, and invest in the GC / Koni Yellow combo with OTS springrates and a good alignment. They can be had for less than $800 shipped; check out red shift motorsports, ususally have the best prices and Chris is a good guy to talk to.

Is Mugen's TA bushings really the same as the OEM one? I remember someone had posted a site that did a review on it a while back, and iirc it came back inconclusive?

The original OEM ones were not very strong, so Mugen made a very expensive replacement. Honda put out a TSB about TA bushing failures, and redesigned the bushing. It is now available seperately and nearly identical to the Mugen.
