I have a 92 civic cx with a b16a sir2 swap..every since ive got the motor swaped into the car ive been throwing code 21 and 22 which are VTEC spool solenoid valve and VTEC pressure valve..my question is how do i fix these codes? Id like to drive my car for once without a CEL. I dont think the codes are affecting me much performance wise b/c i ran a 14.0 at 101 in the 1/4 with I/H/E. But who know with these problems solved i might have ran a 13. Some let me know thanks!

maybe your vtec isnt wired up right but it everything is in good order, take a paperclip and put it in ECU pins A4 and D6 and this will bypass the vtec codes...well it did for my JDM D15b vtec swap. Make sure if you choose to try this..wrap the middle of the paper clip with electrical tape so you dont short anything out.

 

which wire harness are you using. your car is prewired for vtec but will need to be ran to shock tower plugs

 

im using a b16 harness from a del sol.
