Default Bseries block, 2000 B16 Head and Type R tranny will it all work out?

Will the 1.6L Head fit the Bseries Block just fine? And can I mount up a ITR tranny to that Bseries block? This is all going into a 95 EX coupe....And one more thing, The ITR tranny comes with LSD correct? So if it does then i shouldnt waste money on an LSD for the Bseries motor?

huh??
the b-series is a 1.6. if your asking about the 2000 head fitting a another year b16 block then yes it should fit perfectly. and yes that itr tranny would fit. though im not sure if lsd is on all itr's but yes it definately come's on itr' tranny's.

no only the b16 is a 1.6, the rest are 1.8. if your talking about your head from your d16 no it will not fit on any b series block. yes you can mount the itr tranny up to ANY b series block no problem and yes they all came with lsd

Sorry guys I totally forgot to say that the motor i'm putting the B16A head on is a B18b...which is 1.8, I just wasn't sure if the 00 B16A 1.6L head would fit the 94-01 integra motor (1.8). sorry again for the confusion

Yes it will fit with modification.. search for ls vtec. Your putting a vtec head on a non-vtec block and you have to have some modifications done.

Golden Eagle makes a kit for it... you can get it on ebay for somewhere around $200

and since the head is coming off a 00 SI i need to get an OBD2 into OBD1 harness correct? And will I need to get a new ECU since the one on the b18 isn't programmed for vtec? And A little off of the subject...would this be an ok motor to boost?

since your new to hondas i suggest not building ls/vtec cuz if one thing goes wrong or its not built right...BOOM and your money is wasted. i read you wanna boost, i would go ls turbo with a gsr tranny. thats what im doing and aiming for low 12s

i was about to say bro i know your not talking to me like that cuz ill come down there

for ls turbo, unless your want like 500+ hp the ls tranny is too long and the b16/itr are too too short. gsr is in the middle and perfect gearing for ls.

and btw that dude is an ***, ive seen his other posts, just ignore fucktards like that or we can stomp him bay area style
