Default Car Painting advice

I have a 92-95 Civic EG and I wanted to get it repainted. I've decided to keep it red so that I don't have to have the Engine bay painted. But what I wanted to know is how much I should expect to pay. My Driver side rear quarter panel is pretty banged up from a hit and run, but I am going to have that repaired when I get the whole car painted. Does anybody have any idea about how much it would cost to have a small amount of body work done, along with a 2-3 year paint job?

paint is one area that you get what you pay for. its all about the prep and body work then it is about the actual paint. the best thing to do is tel them exactly what you are looking for. and get a dual stage paint job and make sure they color cand thepaint to get a great clear reflection.

for a good paint job expect to payaround 1500-2000

Do the prep work yourself. I heard that maaco paint jobs don't suck completely if you prep the car yourself.
