Default Headlight question

I have a 02 GSXR 600 - and my highbeams had gone out about a month or so ago. Anyhow I replaced the bulbs, no issues, been riding around, and this past thursday after riding for 3 hours, my headlights go out. So I proceed to switch over to high beams, but they don't come on either. And when switched to high beams the blue indicator light doesnt even come on, on the cluster.

I checked the fuses, they weren't blown, but I changed them just in case, still nothing. I'll be getting new headlights to test it out, but does anyone have an other ideas?

It's most likely a burnt wire.

There should be a harness that connects the wires from your headlights to your guage cluster. Check that, the plastic clip may have come loose or maybe just a loose wire there. That would be the first place I looked.

I had a similar problem, check the swith itself, something might be loose inside.
