90 crx dash into 91 hb
after searching and reading a little bit i have just a couple questions
what do i need? my understanding is that i need the dash, center console, and bracket (??) can somebody explain to me or show me a picture of what bracket this is exactly?
other than that is it a pretty straight forward swap? everybody bolts into the same spot providing i changed that bracket?
ohh is that the metal cage that your headunit bolts into?

It's a straight swap. If I had my digi I take a picture but my sister took it to orlando these weekend. The bracket that they are talking about is the one that the center console piece is bolted to which is bolted onto the chasis of the car. It's right smack in the center when you take the center console piece of - you can't miss it. Good Luck. Looks GREAT !

it was pretty easy, got a peice of 3/8 plastic.. urathayne i think it was (ill hafta check),
in the back i made releive cuts and heated it and bent it to get the shape. The stock center console was cut afterward to fit the "plate"
The headunit sits in a u shaped tray that was plastic welded to the plate.
The company that did the plastic welding is called BARR plastics, or e-barr
http://www.e-barr.com
the local one here did it as a side job, cost me 20 bucks CAD
Since they mainly fabricate poly tanks for boats its very strong, i can apply a lot of force and the unit will not even flex. Holds the deck very securly.
The climate control is recessed in the plate, altho if i wanted to i could have remoced the front cover (the one that always cracks) and cut out the slots and temp circle from my plate, i chose to do it like this however. It is held on with clips that use the same idea as the gauges.
I do a bad job of explaining, i read this and it sounds funny to me.. Any specific questions im sure i could easily answer
anyways here are the pictures.

you can see the cut away in the console here
