If you're only swapping in the motor, then you shouldn't need anything except for the engine harness, unless you wire it up directly to the ECU for VTEC. Just make sure you get the ECU for OBD2a 98 EX auto tranny. Everything should bolt right up. If you're not wanting to cut and splice for your VTEC wiring, you'll need a 96-98 EX engine harness.
If anybody thinks I'm missing something, help this guy out, lol.....

This site will help you a ton with the ECU wiring for vtec, and the IACV Fix.

http://www.ff-squad.com/technet/

I did a similar swap on my car, but actually switched mine from an auto to a manual.. i suggest you do the same It's not much more work actually, If you're pulling the motor out honestly you might as well. It would only be a couple hundred bucks for the parts needed for a auto>manual swap from a junkyard.

Here's the fix for the IACV, if you retain your 96-98 (OBD2A) Harness. - http://www.ff-squad.com/tech/w...8.jpg

Here's the fix for the IACV if you go with a 99-00 (OBD2B) Harness to match the motor - http://www.ff-squad.com/tech/w...8.jpg

Hit me up if you have any other questions.
