Has anyone put an STR manifold on they're R
I'm taking off my type r manifold and replacing it with an STR and was wondering if there was any insight out there as to how to swap the connections. Some things just don't seem to tranfer over right and the last thing I need is some vacuum lines or electrical connections to keep me off the road. Any input would help.
Does anybody know how the throttle cable is hooked up. There is no place for the throttle cable bracket to bolt on.

we ran a first gen STR manifold (the big tubular one) on an ITR powered hatch we built. made 390whp on stock internals with an SC63. man, that was a fun fkn car.
i wouldn't put it on a stock itr tho, WAY too big. even the JG manifold i'm running, the victor x cost me power on the stock setup.

I agree. I've never heard of anyone making power on a ITR engine with an aftermarket manifold.

Well I running crane stage 2 cams, aem cam gears, ctr pistons, a side exit header (I'm building it for the strip), and a velocity stack intake. I know its not much now but I plan on going bigger with cp pistons (84mm), manley rods, some better cams, and a better valve train. I think the STR will be good in the long run especially after some tuning.
