I was just wondering if there was a cheaper way to make a 2" outlet into a 2.5" Full-Race makes a slick adapter.

I was just curious. I would like to just have a 2.5 inch outlet on my compressor and have a 90 degree bend welded onto it. Right now I have a 2" to 2.5 silicone coupler, but it makes my piping hang kinda low. I think if I can get the bend to come right off the compressor and hook up to my 2.5" Intercooler piping that would save me a few inches. I was just brainstorming for some ideas, just bored lol.

You could use a coupler and (plastic) 90* adapter from the plumbing dept of home depot, but if that's not sufficient i suppose you could check if mcmaster.com has alum. tube fittings, or ask a welding shop. good luck
We make conical aluminum transition out of 6061 tubing the length of the taper on that can be as short as 1"

I finally found it on the website. That would be pretty nice if it was availabe in a 90.
does everybody here go to home depo for parts, i have never been able to find the automotive section, lol. you could get a 2" 90 then take your interooler pipe to a muffler shop and have it srunk down to fit it.
