Default JdM HiD BulBz Retroz

Did a search but nothing came up about anyone switching any of the bulbs on the jdm hid headlights. Just wanted to know if anyone changed the color of their fog lights to a brighter yellow or what bulbs are they? are they easy to install? Also for the city lights anyone ever switch them with anything else? And has anyone ever opened their jdm housing headlights completely? is it easy to switch the ds2 bulbs for the hid? Reason i ask is that i might be opening my headlights pretty soon, just though i'd get to ask some questions for knowledgeable purposes to know what i'm getting into.

u cant just swap the bulbs to hid bulbs. you need a bunch of parts and you're going to need to rewire stuff.

search "hid retrofit"

there seems to be a confusion, I already have OEM HID's, just wanted to know if you can switch the fog light bulbs and what they are, as well as the city lights. I was referring to switching the Hid bulbs when they are out, is it easy to switch them out with the ds2 (which is oem hid bulbs) bulbs?

this isn't a retrofit.

I have changed mine. its fairly easy. there are a few bolts and maybe screws(cant remember) that have to be removed. once the headlight is in front of you, its pretty simple. Ill look at them tomorrow and get you some more info

I replaced my city light when one blew out. I went to AutoZone and replaced it. I think the headlight has the correct bulb size on it somewhere. I think the city light is 5 watts.

If you look at the jdm headlight assembly you'll see that the bulb specs are printed on it.
