Default Clutch "drag"

I had my Si transmission rebuild about a year ago, or even less, but lately, I have been fighting 1st and 2nd gears. Trying to put the tranny in 1st is difficult, and catching 2nd while going slow and in traffic is often very difficult. Normal or spirited driving do not seem to present problems, just traffic and trying to put back in 1st gear. I recently had John Eagle Honda check trannsmission fluid level last time I went in for oil change and they claim it was find, but I recently discovered something. I was sitting on a slight incline, with clutch fully depressed and noticed the car creeping forward. I removed the transmission from gear and it stopped. This "clutch drag" happens sometimes and doesn't others. Any ideas on what could be causing this clutch drag. Of note, rebuilt SI transmission, with Excedy Stage 1 clutch and ACT prolite FW.

Default Re: Clutch "drag" (BryanPendleton)

sounds like a faulty clutch (pressure plate)....I had a clutch that did that before, once I changed it it worked perfect, no draging or trouble to get into gear.
