those are the c-clip type. Older but still real nice.

I have the Ohlins PCV full coilovers on my scooby and I absolutly love them. Quality/Construction is top notch, ride is very nice, adjustability is excellent.

Well worth it, just ensure those are in good shape.

The older ohlins are still pretty good. I have had a set. The only drawback it that you have to use a oem style spring or buy a coil over set up like ground controls. They still have 25+ clicks adjustability for dampening.

I have a set of dc2 pcv's for sale. With very few miles on them too. 1200 shipped.

They ride pretty firm.

nice!
i used to have the ohlins sport shocks on my old miata too
they are really nice and firm...before one of the shock worn out
25 clicks?!...hmhm i am sure they are 20 level adjustable...but 25+ ?!
i don't know if the valve in shocks would break/damage if you turn more than 20 clicks...
i know tein doesn't not recommend to turn more than 16 to stiffest on their coilover...but i have no idea about ohlins tho...

I bought my PCV's from the same seller a couple of years ago and I highly recommend him.

I drove a car equipped with the Ohlins Sports and Ground Controls the last time I was in Florida and it was pretty damn good. Not as good as the PCV's in the 1900 lb hatch I had at the time, but still pretty damn good.

EDIT: Here's my review on the PCV's https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=759754

Damn those are pricey new. Great write up Kendall, I never saw your post about them. Do you happen to know what springrates the PCV DC2 setup comes with or if you can choose your own? Also wheres Ohlins made?

No wonder the stuff that ebay seller sells looks so familiar.

The shop is just 15mins from my house. That guy owns i would say the largest used parts shop in Kuala Lumpur.

Family has a few car dealerships and his brother operates a junkyard over in Japan.

are you still running those ohlins?

i just bought a set of used PCV as well off another HT member, but I will be installing htem after winter to prepare for track days in the summer.

the seller states that the PCV's for my Civic are 13 front 5 rear... but after reading your review, i understand why the rear is so soft!!!

thanks very much!

my previous coilovers were the Zeal B2's with 12 front and 8 rear.

THOSE dampers are made in Japan (under license from Ohlins).

Camraed. Kamraed. It's supposed to be Comrade.

Same company as C's, as in the C's supercharger and short shifters.

Comrade and Carrozzeria are two entirely different entities. Comrade went bankrupt a couple of years ago.
