I kow it sounds crazy but as much time as I'm spending on the freeway now I'm thinking about installing cuise from a friends EG. Making a 5 hour drive @ night somtimes gets annoying trying to keep a steady speed when you've always got the HWY patrol lurking in the shadows.
http://sandmracing.com/ has an article on the OEM cruise control.

If my memory serves me correct Yack came up here several years ago and got the pieces to put CC on someone's car down in Charlotte area. Don'y know who's car it was but he may be a good source if you need any additional help...

Guys just throwing this out but if there is enough interest I can see if my boss would do a package deal for ITR owner's off of here. We will have everything you guys would need to put CC on an ITR. Not trying to drum up any business but just trying to help some fellow ITR owners out. If there is some interest in a complete parts kit let me know via PM..

I purchased all my parts for CC from IAS many many years ago. larry was quite helpful getting everything required. Retrofit isn't horibly difficult, just takes some time.

Go ahead and check into. Especially for a '97R. I think things maybe differen for this guys caR.
The way I look at it is if this thing saves me one or two speeding tickets it will pay for itself.
<------ does not have a steady foot on the highway or any road for that matter

I like being able to set the cruise on 75 when I'm on the freeway. It really enables me to concentrate more on my surroundings & not having to be concerened w/ keeping a steady speed.

<------- GUILTY car is so smooth at 90+ must get more info on CC
I talked to larry about it today and we have decided to pull one and figure the pricing monday sometime. We were kinda busy this afternoon. I can get pricing for '97 and also pricing for '98+ sometime monday. Like I said we are not trying to get any business here I am just a fellow ITR owner who wants to help some guys out
Guys I just now got the pricing completely together. We have looked at where we stand with the parts and time to pull them etc. We have looked @ the list of parts on the S&M racing site and have pricing based on that list of parts required. Pricing is for 1997 or 1998-2001. If you want to order specify which year you are looking for.
Price shipped in lower 48 states via UPS ground is $290 (+ tax if you live in NC) This is for everything listed on that website. Hope this can help some of you guys out. Much cheaper than purchasing new from Acura. If interested hit me up via pm and i can give you more details on how to contact me directly. Again just doing this to help out my fellow aR owners.
