Default EGT or Knock sensor for street tune timing ?

Hello,

Who is better to street tune the timing ? EGT sensor + display or Knock sensor + display like the MSD product ?
I want to start to tune my ECU with crome, for the fuel i buy a wideband but for the timing i dont know what is needed ...
For info, my engine is an B16A1 in OBDO ...

Thanks,

As Black R said, both are best, but expensive. I would hazard to say that the knock sensor would be more valuable, as it would directly show the knock condition, while the EGT sensor only shows it's effect after the timing has been retarded by the ecu.
