Default What should I install now on my d16?

Finally i have converted the tranny auto/manual
and now I have a hydrolic gear in my 96 civic coupe with a 1.6 sohc vtec engine.
I was just wondering what should i go for next?
if you were in my shoes and didnt want to spend you money on a swap what would you get for the car to improve its power?!

Intake, Headers, and exhaust.. The basics.. But for more power, build the motor for turbo or nitrous...

There are a ton of options, and everyone will tell you different things.

Think about these things:

How much money do you want to spend?
What power adders, if any, do you want?
Will it be mostly for drag racing, autox, etc.?
Will it be daily driven?

There are many more questions to be asked and answered, and it all depends on what you want and what you want to spend..

I know this didn't help a ton, but it is true....

PS: Auto to Manual is a great start.. I did mine about 2 weeks ago.. Im loving it!

What is your final horsepower goal? Where (which rpm range) do you want the power to come?

Once you figure these out, it doesnt matter in what order you buy your parts. All you should worry about is what you want from your car in the end.

Ive driven single cams with all the bolts ons etc etc, yes there zippy little things but they really lack the top end power. I can remember racing my friend with a d16z6 and i had an h22 in my del sol, we would be kinda close right before i hit vtec and then i would pull on him like he put it in reverse...

Boost. I'm only boosting about 6-7psi, but I love it. Definatly going to be building a block over the winter and upping the boost in the spring, though.
