Any picture of a diy auto tranny flush on 4cylinder accord?
I am planning to do a tranny fluid change on my 98 accord 2.3, I was hoping somebody might have pictures and step by step on how to do it. I am not sure where the drail plug is. Thanks
I just stopped by honda today to talk about a Tranny flush and they said tranny flushes hurt the automatic transmission. The tech told me to do a drain and fill.
Sorry, I meant I wanted to drain and fill it. Do anyone know the procedure for it, and location of the drain bolt? Some pix would be nice!
I don't mean to sound like a dick, but I'm wondering is why everyone asking these questions hasn't bought a decent shop manual yet? All of the maintnence is covered in a good manual. What's 50-60 bucks after spending thousands on a car?

Can't tell you how many times I've said this! It's like trying to drive a car with no tires, simply gotta have it.
But yeah he's right on the refil vs. flush. When you flush it washes out all the particles and causes the tranny to slip cuz there's less to grip with. Your other alternative is to get a stick where you don't have to service it for 100k+ miles.
