Default Just installed p28, vtec not working??

sup guys, i just installed a p28 (virgin) w/ obd conversion harness.
after i installed it, i took it around the block and it didnt seem like my vtec was working, i just got an oil change about 200 miles ago.
also i have 112,000 miles on my b16, could it be vtec solenoid?? it worked before but would stop like 700 miles before my oil changes.

when i went from my stock P2T to my p28, vtec didnt work at all. when i put the p2t back, it was faulty in first and second gear, but 3rd gear can be heard very well.

if it was the vtec selenoid, i think u wil have a cel. Make sure that the car is at the right temp. Vtec does not like it when its cold.

yea. NO CEL, car was at the right temp.

about 2 days ago, i had a big leak in my radiator, it got filled up again with 50/50 coolant/water, and then i realized i was driving around (when i was testing out to see if vtec would engage) and it didnt sound like it did (maybe due to a faulty radiator??)
