205s on 15x8s
Will it not fit? I haven't really checked what tires are available in 215 or 225 yet... just leaving my options open.
These wheels will be used for strictly autocross & track events...
When I get better, I want to run some hoosiers, but wondering what would work okay, and what would work the best.
This will be on my 3rd Gen integra, so I'll probably be rolling my fenders soon

Yeah, they'll fit, but usually the point of a wider wheel is to go with a wider tire. 225s in the front would be nice, maybe like a 225/45-15.
try 225/45-15 on a 15x8 in the front and 205/50-15 on a 15x7 in the rear and let us know how that goes.
... because that's what I'm going to try
what do you guys think of the above setup with used hoosiers r3s04 in the front and azenis rt615 in the back for open track events? too much oversteer?

i second that. actually it is st00pid. take it from someone who tried it already.

It's all about tire selection. I know I can fit R compounds on 15x8, just wanted to make sure cheaper tires that I will learn on will fit - I'm gonna look for more tires now and see what's available in those sizes. 225 would be nice...
I can only find R compounds in 225/45/15s... I'm not ready for those kind of tires yet...
I should have no problem with 205s or 215s on 15x8 right?

Are there any disadvantages of running a 205 on an 8" wide rim? I've heard of disadvantages of running a 205 on a 6" width stock rim...
Yeah, 205's on a 15x8 fit just fine. However, I had better luck with the Azenis RT215 on an 8" rim than I did with the Azenis RT615 on an 8" rim.
The RT615's like a 7.5" rim better. An 8" rim seems to stretch them out a bit too much and you pass the point of optimum wheel width. The RT215's loved an 8" rim, however.
So, take that for what it's worth.

I'm not sure if there are any good tires available in this size (or any tires at all for that matter), but something like a 215/45-15 would probably fit real well on a 15x8.
And superpilun, mixing street and R-comps just isn't good because they behave so differently. As a comparison, I briefly had Azenis on the front and all-seasons on the rear, and it sucked hugely. It was very hard to get a feel for how the car would act, and just felt like ****. You'd be better off dialing in more oversteer with different swaybars and/or springs.
