help! car getting hot..
did some searching but nothing much came up... here's the problem... this is a 1996 LS... i just notice that when the car's temp gauge goes over the half mark on the dash, the fan doesn't come on. It takes a while before the fan would actually come on. i checked the fuses and and relay and everything is fine. i'm thinking that i might be the thermo fan switch..
anything else that i might have missed..?

Engine Coolant Temp Switch (ECTS) should turn the fan on, and check the coolant level, if it is low, air pockets can hinder the switch so it doesnt turn the fan on. Thermostat is always a good idea since they fail so often.
