Default Cutting Valve Cover for Cam gears?

Hi guys,
I have an OEM JDM ITR valve cover for my GSR engine and I got my cam gears. However My only guess to cutting the valve cover is to slice the side right off to expose them for tuning. What have you guys done and do you guys have pics? Any help is appreciated.

I think the professional way to have it done is to cut it on a machine.

Or you could get a air compressor...and a cutting disc..trace a line where you want to cut it...and go on with the process.

1)dont' do it when the valve cover is on the head.
2)You can get a cutting disc at any hardware store along with the adapter for the air tool.
3)Don't make the opening too big to where something can fall in and screw things up
