Right now I am debating on weather to go tomorrow or not...looks like rain for 2 days straight. Hasn't rained in a frickin' month...

 

Wish I could be there but I have to attend to the g/f since I'm away the next two weekends...

Cameron and I will be there on Saturday. I like to watch rain races a little less than I like to drive in them but I got no problem with weather. Quack.

I just find it ironic that it hasn't rained significantly in Virginia since about June and mother nature picks right now - one of the biggest VIR weekends of the year from a spectator standpoint - to suddenly decide to pour on everything.

Oh well. Everyone who doesn't need to be there dripping wet can watch it live on Speed, Sunday from 1pm-4pm

I'm with you on that one...I shouldn't complain, but I was looking forward to a nice fall weekend of camping at the track.

I'll be there Saturday and Sunday regardless...we'll just see about tomorrow.

As was I... but camping has recently turned into sleeping in a friend's trailer which will soon probably turn into crashing in a friend's hotel room. After a long day of standing outside soaking-wet, there's nothing like a dry bed and a hot shower.

Same thing here. Saturday bright and early is looking like the plan right now.

I don't mean to bitch... it'll be a great time regardless. I just hate working in the rain... and I can't afford to be sick for several days next week as a result...

That was the last straw for me. The weather makes it easier to decide to stay here and get some work done for a change.

yuh VIR has wireless net in the paddock... so im inbetween sessions rite now.. this morning the track was to dangerous to drive on so we didnt do anything.

Awesome Let's hope they don't have to black flag the whole race I remember seeing that on a WC race a year or two ago, major bummer.
