Default Subs in back seat

I am about to install some new seats and 6-point harness, so i am thinking of removing the rear seat compleatly. Would it be possible to mount subs in the rear sheat metal with the heads facing in, will this metal be stron enough to hold the subs and not rattle excesivly.

you would need to bolt it down real good otherwise it will turn into a deadly hurling object in the case you need to brake real fast.

I thought of doing that before, but I think using MDF wood would be better for that as long as it is braced... and removable.. however, you could use sheet metal, make a proper small box in the lower middle or wherever, cut to size a hole in the sheet metal, and attach...

But if you are removing the rear seat anyway, why not build a MDF and fiberglass box and design it to fit where the rear seat was and use the seat belt bolts to mount it, it would be rock solid, and sound great, [assuming it's built properly] 94
