Starting issues
I am having starting issues on my '94 Accord LX, it is a stock engine with no modifications. Every time I try to start it, it makes a solid click, I have taken the starter off and had it tested, and it checked out fine, all my wiring seems to be okay, no issues with the battery cables, I just got a new battery. I took it to the shop and they replaced a little relay under my dash. My car seemed to start okay for about 2-3 days, then back to clicking. Now it wont start at all, I was forced to pop the clutch after a rolling start. My only other thing to think is that the starter's teeth are not matching up with the flywheel's teeth. And the Clicking noise is the starter physically hitting the flywheel. If you have any suggestions, please help, this is frustrating the hell out of me. Thanks
this is what u do.....have a friend try to start the car, get a big screwdriver, when u hear the click bang on the starter a few times, if it starts u got a bad starter.........and no on the teeth not matching u are looking at the wrong thing.........also make sure all the battery cables are clean and tight

To the poster that is having starting issues... when you actually want it fixed, replace the starter motor.
Desert.... this brings to mind so many other things that we must be testing in a retarded way. If only there was someone to teach us the right way.
