Need some help guys.....I have a 98LS with a Tanabe SRM catback and it rattled my cat heat shield to death when the RPM's were above 3K or so. I removed all 3 pieces of the shield about 6 months ago. I am now hearing another rattling noise that rattles at idle as well as during normal driving. My uncle is a service writer for Honda and he told me that it is probably my cat and that it will cost big $$$$ to get fixed. He also said that an aftermarket cat will thow CEL's and give me emmissions problems, his advice was to learn to live with the rattle. Anyway, this rattle is annoying me and I want something that will work and will pass emmisions without CEL nightmares, any suggestions or advice is much appreciated. Sorry for the long post. (tried to search).

you can get a highflow with a o2 sensor in it ... mine doesnt throw any codes

 

If your worried about CEL's get a Casper Electronics O2 sim. I have a Random Tech Hi flow cat/nvidia test pipe, and i use it on both. If you do get a CEL either unplug your battery for 15mins or have your auto store delete the code.

Do the carsound cat's have 02 sensors available or is there a different kind I should look for?
